Yin : Rest and Release : Zoom

Yin : Rest and Release is designed to guide the mind and body through stillness, connection with the Self, and healing. Our yin practice specifically targets the release of deep layers of fascia, or connective tissue, in the body. Our fascia biologically holds us together, and yet it’s also known to hold trauma, old energy, and stress. We’ll move slowly for a few minutes, then hold postures for 3-5 minutes as we explore readings, contemplations, and pranayama (breathwork). The class will end with a restorative posture and a short meditation before our final Shavasana. All levels welcome.

This is a Karma class. All Yin for Artists donations in the month of February will benefit Farm School NYC!
